Macky has conducted tactical operations in the Middle  East with 2nd Force Recon Company and as a government contractor.  He has attended many special operations schools such as: Amphibious Reconnaissance School, Marine Scout Sniper, Special Operation Training Group CQB, High Threat Protection Course, Blackwater Designated Defensive Marksman Course, and the Special Operations Training Group Breachers Course.  Macky was a Force Recon team leader during reconnaissance and surveillance missions.  He also was a stack leader during direct action raids.   He has dedicated his life to the profession of firearms and tactics instruction.  Macky holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Olive College.
